Training Modules

The B737 NG DGCA Type Rating program delivers a structured blend of theoretical knowledge and advanced practical training to ensure pilots gain complete proficiency. Training begins with an extensive Ground School that builds core technical understanding, supported by an immersive Virtual Reality (VR) training device that enhances cockpit familiarization and procedural clarity. These early stages prepare trainees for the transition to hands-on simulator work with confidence.

Pilots then progress to Full Flight Simulator (FFS) sessions for MCC, followed by high-fidelity FFS Level D training that replicates real aircraft operations. The course also includes JIT/JOC modules to refine jet-handling skills and LVO/AWO training to ensure safe performance in demanding weather and low-visibility conditions.

Flight Systems & Ground Training

The training program includes 44 hours of FSS sessions covering LOFT and checks, with an optional 4-hour LVTO module. It also features 96 hours of ground instruction supported by 13 days of instructor-led classroom training for complete theoretical preparation.

The MCC/JOC component plays a crucial role in preparing pilots for multi-crew operations by building teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills essential for airline environments. Trainees undergo 20 hours of FBS MCC/JOC training designed to develop strong coordination between pilot and co-pilot, ensuring smooth execution of real-world flight procedures. This is further strengthened through 4 hours of immersive Virtual Reality (VR) training, which helps pilots visualize cockpit layouts, practice flows, and adapt to dynamic scenarios with greater confidence.

Along with this structured training, candidates must meet essential prerequisites before enrollment. A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate ensures medical fitness for commercial flying, while holding a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) confirms the foundational skills and knowledge required for advanced type rating programs. These minimum requirements guarantee that trainees begin their MCC/JOC training with the necessary competence and readiness for higher-level airline operations.
