Job Role: Account Assistant

Location: Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

Type: Permanent

Job Description:
Pier Seven Aviation FZC is an aviation training facility, operating various types of Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTDs)”, and conducting initial type rating courses for airlines and private pilots, currently having an exciting new position for an Account Assistant to join in our Sharjah office.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain company ledgers and daily financial transactions.
  • Create financial documents such as bills, invoices, pay-orders, payables, receivables and purchase orders.
  • Coordinate and manage payment and billing details of external service providers, contractors and vendors.
  • Verify payments and deposits made through the company account and coordinate with the bank.
  • Create daily reports for management and team members.
  • Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.
  • Create and update expense reports.
  • Enter financial transactions into internal databases.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks.
  • Maintain digital and physical financial records.
  • Review and file payroll documents.
  • Participate in quarterly and annual audits.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 3-4 years of accounting experience
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP system
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
  • Familiarity with finance regulations
  • Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
  • Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software
  • Proficiency in English Language and presentation skills
  • Should have own commute arrangement.

         Job Role: Senior Simulator Engineer

           Location: Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

           Type: Permanent

  • Job Description:

     

    Pier Seven Aviation FZC is into
    aviation training, having “Class Room Training Facility as well as various
    Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTDs)”, currently having an exciting new
    position for a Senior Simulator Engineer to join in our Sharjah office.

    Key Responsibilities:

    ·      Perform daily and periodic preventive and curative maintenance for all simulators as described in the maintenance manual

    ·      Perform readiness and fly out checks on dailybasis prior to the start of training sessions

    ·      Testing and rectifying reported malfunctions and faulty equipment/systems

    ·      Applying knowledge of functional operation of the system to diagnose the cause of malfunctions

    ·      Overseeing the documentation management of all maintenance activities and maintaining the records and technical logs in a proper manner for licensing requirements

    ·      Perform software and hardware configuration control

    ·      Run and pass QTG’s (Qualification Test Guide) as per QTG management control. Prepare simulator for certification renewal

    ·      Perform and comply with quality system procedures to ensure effective implementation of the QMS (Quality Management System)

    ·      Carry out visual calibration, update NAV database and perform back up of all computer software.

    ·      Provide guidance for the Simulator Training Instructors on the functionality of the Instructors Station as and when
    required

    ·      Other duties and responsibilities as required by the management

    Requirements:

    Bachelor of Science in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering and at least 5 years work experience in related field.

    Knowledge of aviation regulations and standards

    Advanced understanding of aviation training business and simulation devices

    Excellent ime management and organizational skills

    Analytical and agile problem solver with the ability to perform under pressure

    Customer focused with the ability to be tactful in sensitive situations

    Able to interpret schematics and other technical documents pertaining to aviation

    Advanced computer and design skills with knowledge of the MS Office/Windows/Server, IT
    Networking skills

    Must possess superior troubleshooting skills, in depth knowledge on use of electronic test equipment, and advanced software diagnostic utilities

    Proactive and keen to assume responsibility Proficiency in English Language and presentation skills. Should have own commute arrangement.

Job Role: Chief Synthetic Flight Instructor (CSFI)

 Location: Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

 Job Description:

 

Pier Seven Aviation FZC an expanding Commercial Pilot Training Organisation is offering an exciting new position for a Chief Synthetic Flight Instructor (CSFI) to join in our Sharjah office.

 

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

·      Holds or has held an EASA/GCAA SFI/SFE/TRI/TRE A320/B737 qualification, or ICAO equivalent acceptable for reciprocal recognition by the EASA/GCAA.

·      Must have provided Instruction within the past 02 years.

·      ELP level 5 or better.

·      Able to design and edit training programs and syllabi.

·      Sound managerial experience and capabilities.

·      A leader, team worker and problem solver with good communication skills.

·      Strong organizational skills expected.

·      Advance knowledge of MS office 365.

·      Meet other applicable EASA/GCAA regulatory requirements as outlined in CAR-FCL and CAR-ORA relating to the specified position.

 

Accountabilities

·      Standardisation of all instructors

·      Provision of instructor briefing materials related to training.

·      Ensure sufficient qualified personnel availability.

·      Qualify standardisation instructors.

·      Supervise daily simulator operations.

·      Attend required department meetings.

·      Perform duties and supervision of Synthetic Flight Training.

·      Provide fixed base instruction and/or full motion flight simulation instruction for flight crew members initial, recurrent, upgrade and/or differences training in ground school, fixed based and/or full flight simulators.
