Jet Orientation Course (JOC) provides you with a transition from a piston engine aircraft to jet engine operations.
8 hours of classroom theory
Introduction of jet aircraft
Differences between the jet engine and piston engine
Basic principles of flying a specific airplane
Power concept
Systems familiarization
Automation
General handling and IFR flying in the jet environment
Precision and Non-Precision approaches
Checklist and Briefing philosophies as well as techniques
Mutual work and task sharing in the jet environment
Standard Operating Procedures
Cockpit Procedures Training (Mock-up)
JOT Practical
4 hours session in the FFS is divided into:
Pilot flying (PF)
Pilot Non-flying (PNF)
Minimum Training Requirement
At least 70 hours as a pilot-in-command of airplanes;
Valid multi-engine instrument rating;
Certificate of Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) Course completion;
ATPL / CPL licence
