Job Description:

Pier Seven Aviation FZC is into aviation training, having “Classroom Training Facility as well as various Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTDs)”.

We specialize in Initial Type Rating and Recurrent Training programs for Pilots in Airbus and Boeing fleet.

 

We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Theoretical Knowledge Instructor (TKI) at our Sharjah office.

 

A Theoretical Knowledge Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality theoretical training, ensuring trainees acquire the foundational knowledge required for their pilot licenses and certifications.

 

Key Responsibilities

·     Conduct
ground training classroom sessions for Initial Type Rating and Recurrent   training Programs on Airbus and Boeing Fleets, in compliance with aviation            regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA, GCAA).

·   Instruct
Standard operating procedures on cockpit procedures trainers and other flight
training devices.

·  Develop,
update, and maintain course materials, lesson plans, power-point presentations,
and question bank.

·    Ensure
that training is delivered in accordance with state regulatory authority and
organizational standards.

·       
Establish
and maintain a highly effective training and learning environment.

·       
Stay
updated on changes in aviation regulations and incorporate them into teaching
materials.

·       
Ensure
training records and documentation are accurately maintained.

·    Research,
evaluate, and implement new or revised training systems, methods, policies, and
procedures.

·    Work
closely with flight instructors and training management to ensure seamless
integration between theoretical and practical training.

·    Participate
in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and teaching
effectiveness.

·     Perform
administrative duties such as record keeping, monitoring student progress,
counseling, quality assurance, safety, security, and maintenance of training
equipment.

 
Requirements:

•  A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a ground training instructor in Airbus/Boeing aircraft system.

•     Experience in ATO / FSTD organization is useful.

•     Excellent presentation ability.

•     Bachelor’s degree.

•     Knowledge of and the ability to teach aircraft systems, normal abnormal and emergency operating procedures.

•     Excellent interpersonal skills, team oriented and self-directed.

•     Excellent oral and written communication skills.

•     Proficient with Microsoft Office suite; Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

•     Ability to learn new software and systems efficiently.

•     Experience of working directly with regulators, Certification Bodies and other Standard organizations.

•     Proficiency in English Language and presentation skills.

•     Should have own transportation arrangements

•  Previous experience of instructing ATPL subjects at an approved training organization is preferred.

•    Certificate of Instructional Techniques / Train the Trainer is preferred.

Job Role: Senior Simulator Engineer

Job Description: 

Pier Seven Aviation FZC is into aviation training, having “Class Room Training Facility as well as various Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTDs)”, currently having an exciting new position for a Senior Simulator Engineer to join in our Sharjah office.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily and periodic preventive and curative maintenance for all simulators as described in the maintenance manual
  • Perform readiness and fly out checks on daily basis prior to the start of training session
  • Testing and rectifying reported malfunctions and faulty equipment/system
  • Applying knowledge of functional operation of the system to diagnose the cause of malfunctions
  • Overseeing the documentation management of all maintenance activities and maintaining the records and technical logs in a proper manner for licensing requirement
  • Perform software and hardware configuration control
  • Run and pass QTG’s (Qualification Test Guide) as per QTG management control. Prepare simulator for certification renewal
  • Perform and comply with quality system procedures
    to ensure effective implementation of the QMS (Quality Management System
  • Carry out visual calibration, update NAV database and perform back up of all computer software.
  • Provide guidance for the Simulator Training Instructors on the functionality of the Instructors Station as and when require
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required by
    the management
 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering and at least 5 years work experience in related field.
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations and standards
  • Advanced understanding of aviation training business and simulation devices
  • Excellent ime management and organizational skills
  • Analytical and agile problem solver with the ability to perform under pressure
  • Customer focused with the ability to be tactful in sensitive situations
  • Able to interpret schematics and other technical documents pertaining to aviation
  • Advanced computer and design skills with knowledge of the MS Office/Windows/Server, IT Networking skills
  • Must possess superior troubleshooting skills, in depth knowledge on use of electronic test equipment, and advanced software diagnostic utilities
  • Proactive and keen to assume responsibility Proficiency in English Language and presentation skills. Should have own commute arrangement.

Minimum Requirements
* GCAA (UAE) licence
* Candidates must have a valid SFI/SFE rating and have delivered training on the A320 in the past 2 years
* 1,500 PIC hours on the A320
* 3,000 Total Flying hours
* English ICAO level 5
* Strong interpersonal skills and a customer focused mind set
* Excellent teaching and communication skills
* Ability to adapt style to global client base


Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for conducting pre and post flight simulator briefings in a thorough, professional manner and in
accordance with GCAA (UAE) standards.
* Conducting each simulator session in accordance with the ATO, Aircraft Manufacturer or the customers’
Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) as required.
* Responsible for conducting classroom instruction in aircraft systems
* Providing simulator flight instruction for the issue of licenses, type ratings and certificates.
* Assist with courseware development in the training program to keep courses up to date, accurate and
responsive to the client’s needs and requests
* Completing the appropriate client training records accurately and comprehensively
* Completing duties as assigned by the Training Manager.
